What you'll need
- An AWS account with read-only credentials available locally (a profile in
~/.aws/credentialsor environment variables — the same setup the AWS CLI uses). - A terminal on macOS, Linux, or Windows (WSL).
- No signup — the CLI runs entirely on your machine.
What happens next
Once you've run your first scan you'll have a local report showing which PCI DSS requirements Ankos collected evidence for, which ones need manual review, and where to find the remediation guidance.
