What you'll need
- Read-only credentials for at least one supported provider — an AWS profile
(
~/.aws/credentialsor env vars, the same setup the AWS CLI uses), GCP Application Default Credentials, a GitHub org + read-only token, Okta/Entra API credentials, or a kubeconfig context. The quickstart below uses AWS; seeankos scanfor the others. - A terminal on macOS, Linux, or Windows (WSL).
- No signup — the CLI runs entirely on your machine.
What happens next
Once you've run your first scan you'll have a local report showing which PCI DSS requirements Ankos collected evidence for, which ones need manual review, and where to find the remediation guidance.
